June Lake Library Offers Four Days of Service on the Shore of Gull Lake

JUNE LAKE — November 2, 2026. Mono County Free Library lists June Lake Branch at 90 West Granite Avenue, with public hours split between afternoons and midday on four days each week.

Hours and contact

The branch is open Tuesday and Thursday 1–6 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday 11 a.m.–4 p.m. It is closed Monday, Friday and Sunday. The listed telephone number is 760-648-7284.

A reading room funded by local supporters

The county says the Friends of the Library funded a small reading and conference room in 2010. The branch hosts a collection of used books for sale, magazines and areas for reading or computer use.

Not a daily visitor center

The setting beside Gull Lake makes the library easy for visitors to notice, but it is primarily a public library. Confirm library programs, borrowing requirements and current internet access before arriving, especially during snow events.
