June Lake Recreation Includes Gull Lake Park and Peter L. Marzano Ballfield

JUNE LAKE — November 2, 2026. Mono County Public Works maintains several community parks and recreational facilities in the eastern Sierra, including Gull Lake Park and Peter L. Marzano Ballfield in June Lake.

Two different types of public facility

The county’s park directory places Gull Lake Park among its longstanding recreation spaces and lists the Marzano Ballfield separately. Those are different amenities: a lakeside park visit does not establish field availability for a team practice.

What to confirm in winter

Snow, ice and maintenance can change parking access, restrooms and field conditions. Community organizers should ask the county about reservations, permitted events and any approved commercial use.

Stewardship

Mono County’s Facilities Division is the land manager named on the county park list. Visitors should use designated paths, carry out trash and respect nearby private properties around the lakeshore.
